By making a purchase on our website, you agree to comply with this policy along with our Privacy, Refund, and Shipping policies.

MenTiesPurple accepts the following forms of payment for online purchases:

  • Debit Cards: Accepted where supported by the payment gateway

  • Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay (if available)

  • PayPal: For verified PayPal accounts

  • Gift Cards or Discount Codes: Only one discount or promotional code can be applied per order, unless stated otherwise

All payments must be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise during checkout.


3. Payment Processing

  • Payments are securely processed through our authorized third-party payment gateway using SSL encryption and PCI-DSS compliant technology.

  • MenTiesPurple does not store or have access to your full credit or debit card information.

  • Once your payment is authorized, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details.

If your payment fails or is declined, your order will not be processed, and you’ll be prompted to use an alternate payment method.


4. Payment Authorization & Verification

To protect against fraudulent transactions:

  • MenTiesPurple reserves the right to verify billing and shipping information before processing any order.

  • In some cases, we may request additional identification or confirmation from the customer.

  • Orders suspected of fraudulent activity may be canceled without prior notice, and payment will be refunded if already processed.


5. Timing of Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of purchase.
Your card or account will be charged immediately upon completing checkout.
Orders will not be processed or shipped until payment has been successfully received and verified.


6. Currency & Conversion Fees

All prices on our website are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) by default.

If you are purchasing from outside Canada:

  • Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees or international transaction charges.

  • MenTiesPurple is not responsible for these additional costs.


7. Taxes

Applicable sales taxes (GST/HST/PST) will be calculated based on your shipping address and shown at checkout.
For international orders, any customs duties or import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility (as explained in our Shipping Policy).


8. Discounts, Promotions, and Gift Cards

  • Promotional codes, coupons, and discounts must be entered at the time of checkout.

  • Discounts cannot be combined unless specifically mentioned.

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

If a discount code or offer expires, MenTiesPurple cannot retroactively apply it after the order is placed.


9. Failed or Delayed Payments

If your payment fails due to insufficient funds, incorrect billing details, or gateway error:

  • You’ll receive an automated message to retry payment.

  • Your order will remain on hold until payment is successfully processed.

Repeated failed attempts may lead to cancellation of your order.


10. Refunds for Returned Items

Refunds, where applicable, are processed according to our Refund Policy.
Once your returned item is approved for a refund:

  • The amount will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

MenTiesPurple cannot control how long your bank or payment provider takes to release the funds.


11. Payment Disputes

If you believe you were charged in error:

  • Please contact us immediately at info@mentiespurple.shop with your order number and proof of transaction.

  • We’ll investigate and, if verified, issue a correction or refund.

Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in suspension of your customer account and refusal of future orders.
